I live on the family cattle ranch several miles outside a small town in rural Arizona. I have been married almost two decades and have three kids. I'm trying really hard to try to survive the teenage years and feel like I'm doing pretty well! If they could just quit asking me for money all the time it would be a lot better!
I get bored easily with projects. If it is a project out there, I've probably given it a try. I have the craft cabinet to prove it. Now that I have teenagers and work full time I don't have time for projects. Heck, I barely have time to cook dinner or clean house most of the time! So blogging is my hobby and being social is my hobby. I love to go to lunch with girlfriends and love meeting new people in the blogosphere. I love reading blogs where people are REAL. I don't like fake anything. You can spot fake a mile away. I love going to the movies with my hubs and getting popcorn and a Coke. I love to put that flavored powder on my popcorn - the chocolate marshmallow and caramel are my favorites. I only drink REAL soda. I won't come within a mile of diet. Yuck! Real or nothing! That's my motto! ha ha I need to quit drinking soda... but I love it. Hopefully soon.
I'm not fashionable and prefer jeans and a button up camp shirt or a baggy T-shirt most of the time. I try to buy the ones that don't have to be ironed. I hate ironing with a passion. I love to wear flip-flops in the summer and cowboy boots in the winter. I will wear my cowboy boots in the summer to go dancing. I've loved country western dancing since I was a young teenager and can dance the night away. I live in cowboy country so we still have those kinds of dances for the 4th of July and Pioneer Days. I wouldn't miss those dances for anything! :) I love, love, love it!
